On the morning of July 17th, Chen Guangju, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Wuhan Municipal People's Congress, Zhang Weihong, Member and Deputy Secretary General of the Standing Committee of the Wuhan Municipal People's Congress, Cheng Chunsheng and Huang Zhaoyi, Vice Chairmen of the Agriculture and Rural Committee of the Wuhan Municipal People's Congress, Li Kejing, Member of the Agriculture and Rural Committee of the Wuhan Municipal People's Congress, Chairmen of the Special Committees of the Wuhan Municipal People's Congress and Chairmen of the Working Committees of the Wuhan Municipal People's Congress, accompanied by Wang Wengao, Deputy Director of the Wuhan Municipal Agriculture and Rural Bureau, Liu Li, Director of the Seed Industry Department of the Wuhan Municipal Agriculture and Rural Bureau, Chen Chunming, Director of the Wuhan Agricultural Innovation Center, Hu Qizhou, Chairman of the Wuhan Gaonong Group, and relevant personnel from the Donghu New Technology Development Zone, went to inspect Huimin in Hubei. During the inspection, the company's general manager Lu Liwei first led the delegation led by Chen Guangju, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, to visit the modern rice processing workshop and understand the process of selecting and processing rice seeds. Then, they went to the company's exhibition hall and gave a detailed introduction to the company's development history, main business, scientific research and innovation platform construction, industrial layout, international export trade and other related situations, as well as actively practicing the corporate mission of developing ethnic seed industry and promoting rural revitalization. The international cooperation between the "the Belt and Road" and Central Asia was highlighted. Hubei Huimin started its cotton seed business layout in Uzbekistan in 2020, and achieved a breakthrough in 2024, exporting 1300 tons of cotton seeds, while developing the corn and rice business layout in Central Asia; Simultaneously highlighted the development of core rice and corn varieties Wei Liangyou 534, Wei Liangyou 1019, and Hui Min 380 in Hubei Huimin, as well as the future planning of Hubei Huimin.
