A few days ago, the International Symposium on the Development of 2016 Brand Agriculture was held in Beijing. Qu Dongyu, Vice Minister of Agriculture, and Ma Wensen, representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in China and North Korea, attended the meeting and delivered speeches. Zhu Baocheng, member of the CPPCC National Committee and president of the China Association for the Development and Service of quality Agricultural products, delivered a keynote speech entitled "opening a New era of International Cooperation in Brand Agriculture in promoting the Construction of" Belt and Road Initiative.
Qu Dongyu pointed out that brand is the character and soul of agricultural products, the condensation of consumer reputation, and the universal market language. Branding is the process and symbol of agricultural modernization. Branding is a process of specialization, standardization, and technology. It also embodies the hard work of producers, the wisdom of managers, the emotions of marketers, and the yearning of consumers. Supporting brand building is the only way for modern agriculture.
Qu Dongyu stressed that the Chinese government attaches great importance to the construction of brand agriculture. Since the reform and opening up, especially after we have solved the problem of food and clothing for more than one billion people, we have paid more attention to and promoted the quality and safety of agricultural products and brand building. With the wide international acceptance and increasing influence of the "Belt and Road Initiative" initiative, we will further carry forward the spirit of the ancient Silk Road. The Ministry of Agriculture of China will learn from the world's best experience and advanced technology and practices, and support various agricultural social organizations, enterprises and new business entities in China to strengthen exchanges, cooperation and exchanges with partners from all over the world.
Zhu Baocheng said that the "Belt and Road" initiative provides new space for the development of the global agricultural economy, provides new opportunities for global agricultural trade, provides new opportunities for strengthening advantageous industries, and provides a new platform for shaping the image of agricultural brands. Carrying out international cooperation in brand agriculture in the construction of the "Belt and Road" will effectively promote the structural reform of my country's agricultural supply side and enhance the international image and market influence of my country's agriculture.
The seminar arranged three round tables on the topics of "openness, inclusiveness and inclusiveness: building a global service platform", "scientific and technological innovation to promote brand internationalization" and "brand consumption to promote multilateral trade growth. The International Union of Agricultural Associations (WUAA) was inaugurated at the initiative of the China Association for the Development and Service of Quality Agricultural Products in conjunction with non-governmental organizations from six countries.
