Notice of Jiangxi Provincial Seed Administration on Doing a Good Job in the Application of Introduction Test and Filing Materials for Examine and Approval Varieties

In order to help and guide introducers to do a good job in variety introduction tests and filing materials declaration, the relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:

1. introducer

The introducer shall be a seed enterprise and shall have the business qualification for the introduced variety for the record. Seed enterprises holding Certificate A and Certificate B can introduce hybrid varieties and regular varieties of major crops; seed enterprises holding Certificate C can introduce regular varieties of major crops.

2. introduction test

The introducer shall carry out the adaptability and disease resistance test for not less than 1 year in the area to be introduced, and it is recommended to do it for 2 years. It is suggested that the adaptability test should be designed at least according to the production test method, and the field data should be recorded according to the specified contents. The province is divided into 11 introduction areas according to the administrative regions of districts and cities, and each area to be introduced shall have adaptability test, with test points not less than 1/year. It is suggested that the rice disease resistance test should be entrusted to the test rice blast resistance identification points in the provinces and regions, and the field data should be recorded according to the contents specified in the test, and the test points should not be less than the test rice blast resistance identification points in the provinces and regions. It is suggested that the disease resistance test of other major crops should be arranged by the introducer himself, and the number of disease resistance test points in each area to be introduced should not be less than 1/year.

3. filing materials

The filing application forms include: 1. Application form for filing the introduction of approved varieties in Jiangxi Province (with electronic version attached);2. Summary report of adaptability test of varieties to be introduced for filing; 3. Summary report of resistance identification test of varieties to be introduced for filing; 4. Copy of approval certificate of varieties to be introduced for filing; 5. Copy of approval announcement of varieties to be introduced for filing; 6. Copy of business license of introducer; 7. Other materials. See specific annex. Time for submission of filing materials: before September 30 for early rice; Before October 30 for first season rice; Late rice and other major crops before November 30. 4. Filing Announcement

The contents of the announcement include: variety name, introduction, breeder, approval number, filing announcement number, suitable planting area for introduction, main characteristics of varieties, main cultivation measures, adaptability, risk warning, consulting service information, etc.
