However, the feed industry and starch processing industry more problems. Feed industry product homogenization phenomenon is serious, the downstream market downturn, overcapacity, the overall industry operating rate is low. The corn production link in the starch processing industry is out of touch with the processing enterprises, and a complete industrial chain has not been formed. Affected by the grain temporary storage and purchase policy and the northward advance of cassava starch, the current industry operating rate is relatively low.

In Linyi City, because corn processing products are mainly primary processed products such as starch, starch sugar, and protein feed, there are problems such as short processing chains and product homogeneity, resulting in structural overcapacity, and the operating rate of corn processing enterprises is generally less than 80%.

"The seed coat of corn is used as fiber feed, and the corn meat (endosperm) inside is processed into starch milk. Through separation and processing, part of it is used as high protein feed, and the other part is processed into starch sugar, which is then made into different products with injected sugar and glucose ......" It is Asia's largest starch sugar production base, maltodextrin production base and the world's largest injection glucose production base. Among them, corn oil is the first brand of corn oil in China, the domestic market share of anhydrous glucose has reached 87%, and leading products such as edible glucose are exported to more than 60 countries and regions such as Asia, Europe, Africa and South America." In recent years, Zhucheng Xingmao Company has also made great efforts to promote the transformation and development, and its products have been extended from corn starch to downstream, and the output of modified starch, high maltose syrup, glucose, maltodextrin and other products has increased year by year. and gradually formed its own fist products.

Li Chuanfu said that a common feature of many large corn deep processing enterprises in Shandong is the implementation of multi-variety and differentiated development strategies. In this way, the enterprise reduces the production cost to the maximum extent, and also relies on the core products to start the brand and form the core competitiveness of the enterprise. Way out: Extend the industrial chain and promote cluster development

Weifang Yingxuan Industrial recently encountered problems. "Last year's corn on the market is almost digested. At present, most of the corn raw materials are in the state-owned grain depot, and the auction price is getting higher and higher." Li Fusheng said.

Wang Yong, chairman of Xiwang Group, said that the current grain purchase and reserve system has a single function of "collection" and "storage", and the problem of grain aging is prominent, resulting in huge waste.

Wang Yong suggested that large corn deep processing enterprises should be fully involved in corn acquisition and storage. "These enterprises generally have large reserve capacity and professional testing capabilities. Their participation in and involvement in corn collection and storage can facilitate the state's management of the grain purchase terminal link, and the quality control is more powerful. At the same time, allowing enterprises to digest the stored grain in a planned and rhythmic manner can effectively avoid the emergence of aged grain."

A person from Xingmao Company said that there are already positive policy signals. The reform of the corn purchasing and storage system in 2016 will follow the principle of market pricing and separation of price and compensation, which will enable enterprises to have flexibility and initiative.

From the perspective of Shandong province, the proportion of corn deep processing is still relatively low. "Corn deep processing enterprises should take the initiative to extend the industrial chain, accelerate the cultivation of core competitiveness." Li Chuanfu said. In the forward extension, the processing industry's demand for raw material corn is constantly refined, and the raw material base must be controlled through "order agriculture" and other methods. In the backward extension, to improve the deep processing, fine processing capacity, increase the production of special starch.

In addition, the utilization rate of corn cob, straw, bracts and other by-products by corn processing enterprises is not high, and the large amount of investment in environmental protection equipment also restricts the sustainable and healthy development of enterprises.

"Local governments should be based on the current situation of the industry, introduce targeted support policies, promote the joint, cluster and park development of corn processing enterprises, jointly reduce production costs and improve product efficiency." Li Chuanfu said.
