Qianjiang "Shrimp Rice" Variety Breeding and Industry Strategy Development Symposium Held

In order to earnestly implement the important instructions of Secretary Hu Gongmin of Qianjiang Municipal Party Committee on September 13 on the development of "shrimp and rice" industrial variety screening, improving rice quality and integrating brands, when the rice tested varieties in Qianjiang Huahuichun Cooperative Association Base are about to be harvested, on September 21, the Grain Bureau will take the lead to organize relevant departments, seed research and development units, rice processing enterprises, seed distributors and grower representatives in the city, the field performance, quality and taste of rice varieties in the screening base were observed and evaluated to lay a foundation for integrating brands and improving rice quality in 2017.
